Pontil
"Pontil" is a puzzle game/interactive experience created by students at the Savannah College of Art and Design in early 2019, led by Megan Hsu. The player follows three friends as they're separated in three glass terrariums. Each character has their own abilities to solve the puzzles that will let them escape the terrariums and meet with their other friends.
Prunty
I did three animations for Prunty, one of which I had taken over from another animator to help finish in time for its due date. These shots were taken from reference videos shot by the members of the team themselves and exaggerated to fit the character.
Pontil
I did two animations for the main character, Pontil. The first was used in the game trailer and the game scene where he steps up to touch the glass wall of the terrarium. The second is his running cycle. I worked on the main animations in Maya and then he was taken into Unreal to add the textures and cloth simulation for his ribbons.
